"Koraput MP Saptagiri Ullaka expressed his displeasure with the government and the district administration at the Rayagada district folk festival. He gave various suggestions on the government’s activities starting from Chaiti. He said in his speech, “Take my words as advice because we have come here to work for the people.” He pointed out that there was no harmony between the state and the central government, which led to a lack of publicity for the festival Chaiti. He suggested that it is necessary to give opportunities to tribal artists from outside the state rather than restricting it to the block level. This will help increase tourism in the region and promote economic growth and development of the district."

"MP Saptagiri Ullaka also suggested promoting the festival through the media and cited a central university setting as an example. He thanked the government for launching the Hindalco company in Kansariguda, but pointed out that it took 18 years for the state government to lay the foundation stone. He demanded that the railway department should exchange the place and resettle the local residents of Koilapada and Nuasahi slums. He also criticized the central government for doing politics on the basis of caste and religion to inflame the people. He urged everyone to focus on the development of the district.
